Bluejays Force Fifth Set in Battle With Illinois Tech

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Elmhurst University women’s volleyball pushed the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) to five sets on Wednesday, Sept. 16, before falling 3-2 at the Keating Sports Center. The Bluejays opened the match with a 25-18 first-set win. Illinois Tech. (4-4) responded by taking the next two sets, 25-19 and 25-18, to move ahead 2-1. Elmhurst (3-5) answered with its strongest attacking set of the night, recording 13 kills and a .233 hitting percentage in the fourth.
