Prairie Stars All Set for Conference-Opening Weekend at UIndy, Lewis

The Illinois Springfield volleyball team opens GLVC play this weekend with a pair of road matches, beginning Friday at 5 p.m. CT at Indianapolis before traveling to Lewis for a 3 p.m. match Saturday. The Prairie Stars enter the conference slate at 3-7 after splitting their final two matches at the Griffon Invitational last weekend. UIS fell to host and No. 10 Missouri Western before closing the tournament with a gritty five-set victory over Arkansas Tech.
