Raptors, Kawhi Leonard Engaged In ‘Advanced’ Extension Talks

The Raptors and newcomer Kawhi Leonard are making progress toward an agreement on a contract extension, according to Jake Fischer of The Stein Line (Twitter link), who reports that the two sides are engaged in “advanced” discussions. There has long been an expectation that Leonard and the Raptors would negotiate a new contract once he was officially dealt to Toronto.
