Royals Battle Charlotte in Four-Set Match

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Queens University of Charlotte women’s volleyball battled throughout four sets Thursday night, but Charlotte came away with a 3-1 victory (21-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-23) at Curry Arena. The Royals fall to 3-8 on the season, while Charlotte improves to 3-7. THE SHORT STORY Callie DeSchryver and Elizabeth Layson led the Royals with 12 kills apiece, while DeSchryver added a team-high 22 digs and two aces.
