Tigers Fall to Open Orange & Black Classic

POCATELLO, Idaho – The Pacific women's volleyball program battled throughout their opening match of the Orange & Black Classic, ultimately falling to the host Idaho State 25-12, 25-19, 25-17 inside Reed Gym. The Tigers (4-6) found their rhythm in the second set taking a 14-11 lead, sparked by sophomore Julia Porath's all-around performance leading the Tigers in the kills' department. Defensively, junior Alessia Couchond and sophomore Bella Gutierrez handled the Bengals' (8-2) attack recording four digs apiece in the second set.
