UIS Women’s Cross Country Heads to Illinois State for Redbird Invite

Libby Price The UIS women's cross country team will compete in the Illinois State Redbird Invite on Friday at 11:15 a.m. in Normal, Ill. The Prairie Stars will face host Illinois State, Eastern Illinois, Northern Illinois and Iowa. The entire field consists of NCAA Division I opponents. Friday's race will be UIS' first 6K of the season, giving the Prairie Stars their first opportunity to compete at the championship distance.
