Women’s Soccer Falls at Furman in Conference Opener
SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- The Wofford College women's soccer team fell to Furman University, 2-0, in the Southern Conference opener after two goals in the first half on Thursday night in Greenville, S.C. First Half Furman commanded the half from the jump, starting the match with four corner kicks and four shots on goal in the first six minutes. The Paladins found their mark in the back of the net at 8:11 with a goal from Riley O'Brien, giving them an early 1-0 lead.
