Women’s Soccer Gain Draw at HPU

WAIPAHU, O’ahu, Hawai’i – The Chaminade University women’s soccer team had the first of their two non-conference meetings against fellow in-state foes on Wednesday, facing in-city rival Hawai’i Pacific University at the Waipio Peninsula Soccer Stadium. The Silverswords rallied from a score down with a goal in the waning minutes of the first half to salvage a 2-2 tie against the Sharks. All four goals came in the first half with defenses ruling the final 45 minutes.
