Concord Drops Heartbreaker to Charleston, 41-38

ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University football team was defeated 41-38 against Charleston Thursday night in a Mountain East Conference game at Callaghan Stadium. The Mountain Lions (2-1, 0-1 MEC) lost on the final play from scrimmage as Charleston (1-3, 1-0 MEC) scored on a five-yard passing touchdown with two seconds remaining to steal a win from CU.
