Emond Named GSC Golfer of the Week

Jonathan Murray BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - After the first tournament of the year, Lee University women's golfer Justine Emond was named the Gulf South Conference golfer of the week. The reigning GSC freshman of the year, Emond earned her first ever golfer of the week accolade. Justine Emond came in tied for second at the City With Spirit Classic. Emond was three shots back from winning. She had a 216 (70-72-74). She was the top finisher out of five GSC schools. She helped Lee to a fourth place finish.
