Flames sign Brennan Othmann to one-year contract

The Calgary Flames have agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract with restricted free agent forward Brennan Othmann, the club announced on Friday. Othmann, 23, will be paid a $975,000 salary for the time he spends in the NHL during the 2026-27 season. At this point in time, it’s unknown what his AHL salary will be. The Flames previously acquired Othmann from the New York Rangers on March 6 in exchange for prospect Jacob Battaglia.
