Flyers Snap Hawks’ Eight-Match Win Streak in GLVC Opener

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. – The Quincy University women’s volleyball team saw its eight-match winning streak come to an end Friday night, falling to Lewis University in four sets, 25-12, 25-23, 20-25, 25-20, in its GLVC opener. The opening set was the exact opposite of how the Hawks wanted to begin conference play. Lewis jumped out to a 6-1 lead, forcing an early Quincy timeout as the Hawks struggled in serve receive.
