Logan Sets School 8K Record at Saint Mary’s Invitational

CONCORD, Calif. — Phillip Logan set a new Cal State East Bay men's cross country 8K record Friday morning, highlighting a day of personal-best performances for the Pioneers at the Saint Mary's Invitational at Newhall Park. Logan crossed the finish line in 24:17.7, placing 45th overall and accounting for 36 points toward East Bay's team score. His performance broke the previous program record of 24:35.7, set by Cole McKain at the 2024 CCAA Cross Country Championships, by 18 seconds.
