No. 16 Louisville Tops Boston College 1-0 in ACC Opener

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Chloe Plumb’s goal in in the fourth quarter lifted the No.16-ranked University of Louisville field hockey team to a 1-0 win over Boston College in both teams’ Atlantic Coast Conference opener Friday evening at Trager Stadium. With the win, the Cardinals improve to 5-2 on the season and 1-0 in ACC play while the Eagles drop to 2-5 (0-1). Louisville is now 3-0 at Trager Stadium this season.
