Pierce records third-fastest 5K in program history, Cross Country races at Adidas XC Challenge

CARY, N.C. – Senior Emily Pierce recorded the third-fastest 5K time in program history Friday night as the Campbell cross country teams competed at the Adidas XC Challenge. Pierce finished 23rd overall with a personal-best 17:27.7 in the Camels’ second meet of the season, improving her previous best by nearly 30 seconds. Her time ranks third all time in program history behind Dorcus Ewoi and Joan Maritim.
