Volleyball opens two-day run at Grove City Invitational

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 18) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team opened its two-day run at the Grove City Invitational with a pair of matches on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to both Albion and Denison. Waynesburg (1-8) dropped its opening match to the Britons (8-0) by the set scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-10. The Jackets followed that up by dropping its second match of the evening to the Big Red (3-7) 25-10, 25-12, 25-14. Waynesburg is back in action tomorrow for day two of the Grove City Invitational.
