War Hawks Fall to Host Oglethorpe in Salamone Invitational Opener

ATLANTA, Georgia – McMurry Men’s Soccer dropped a 2-0 decision to host Oglethorpe University on Friday night in the opening round of the John P. Salamone Invitational. Jose Sanchez started in net for the War Hawks before Enrique Cabello entered in the seventh minute, going on to record two saves across nearly 84 minutes of action. McMurry generated dangerous early chances in the 14th and 15th minutes. Justyn Judie and Jovani Burnett each put shots on target in rapid succession off back-to-back corner kicks, but the Oglethorpe goalkeeper turned both attempts away to keep the match scoreless.
