Women Take 4th, Men Place 7th at Adidas XC Challenge

CARY, N.C. — Richmond's women's cross country team placed fourth and the men's team finished seventh at the Adidas XC Challenge Friday at WakeMed Soccer Park. For a second straight race, the women's team was led by freshman Ella Solorzano, who completed the 5K course in 17:56.0 to finish 32nd. Junior Mia Paolino placed 40th in 18:14.4, followed by freshmen Aya Ryan (41st in 18:17.2) and Kiera Lowman (42nd in 18:17.9). Sophomore Estella Bruneau rounded out Richmond's scoring five, placing 53rd in 18:37.4. Of the 16 teams in the women's race, Richmond (143 points) finished behind only NC State (21...
