Cards Prevail in Ranked Conference Battle Against No. 16 SMU

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The No. 23-ranked University of Louisville football team came out on top in a back-and-forth contest with No. 16 SMU Saturday afternoon at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium. Louisville (2-1, 1-0 ACC) was powered by its running game which tallied 265 yards of the Cards’ 442 total yards. Senior running back Keyjuan Brown posted a career-high 165 rushing yards and ran in two touchdowns, both of which were runs longer than 50 yards.
