George Washington Tops Volleyball

WASHINGTON (September 19, 2026) – Howard University women’s volleyball team closed out the weekend with a 3-0 setback at crosstown rival George Washington (25-18, 27-25, 25-21). HU was unable to get into a rhythm, hitting only .089 percentage as a team. Second-year Bison Alexys James (Houston) led the Bison with a double-double (27 assists & 10 digs).
