Hawks shine at first home meet of the season

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore cross country program concluded its first home meet of the season Saturday afternoon at the UMES Invitational in Princess Anne. The men's cross country program opened the day's races with an 8K. In his season debut, junior Nkanyezi Niqubu placed first with a time of 26:25.15.
