Maryland Football Falls To Virginia Tech
COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Terps suffered their first defeat of the season, 35-26 to Virginia Tech, on Saturday night at a sold-out SECU Stadium. Maryland (2-1) fell to its first non-conference opponent since 2019, ending its nation-leading 20-game non-conference winning streak. Chris Durr Jr. had a career night with 12 receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns as he and Dorian Fleming (six receptions, 72 yards) both surpassed the 1,000 career receiving yard mark.
