Hammond, Ind. — Illinois Tech men’s tennis lost to Purdue Northwest men’s tennis 6-1 on Friday in the Scarlet Hawks first tune-up match of the fall portion of their schedule. The Hawks earned its point at No. 1 singles but dropped all three doubles matches and five of six singles contests. Illinois Tech is 0-1 overall. The Lions are 1-0 overall.
