No. 13 Nighthawks Defeat USC Aiken 2-1 on Senior Day

DAHLONEGA – The No. 13 University of North Georgia (UNG) women’s soccer team celebrated senior day with a 2-1 Peach Belt Conference victory over USC Aiken Saturday afternoon at the UNG Soccer Field. The teams endured two weather delays as the match, originally scheduled for a 4 p.m. kickoff, did not conclude until after 8:30 p.m. The Nighthawks (6-2, 2-1 PBC) controlled the match offensively, outshooting USC Aiken 21-3, including a 14-0 advantage in the first half.
