WASHINGTON – The No. 9/13 Georgetown University men’s soccer team defeated the Marquette University Golden Eagles 3-0 on Friday evening at Shaw Field in both teams’ BIG EAST Conference opener. With the win, the Hoyas improve to 6-1-1 overall and 1-0-0 in league play, while the Golden Eagles drop to 5-2-1 for the season as well as 0-1-0 in the BIG EAST.
