Pickard’s Late Tally Pushes Women’s Soccer Past Broncs

Junior Ava Pickard scored in the 89th minute to break a scoreless deadlock and lift Canisius to a 1-0 victory over Rider in Metro Conference women’s soccer action Saturday at the Demske Sports Complex. Pickard struck with 67 seconds remaining in regulation to lift the Golden Griffins (4-4-0, 1-2-0 Metro) to their first league win of the season.
