Pinzon, Savkovic Reach Quarterfinals of Hofstra Invitational

HEMPSTEAD, NY – Siena Women’s Tennis newcomers Mariana Pinzon and Ana Savkovic each were victorious during their Round of 16 match ups on day two of the Hofstra Invitational on Saturday at the Hofstra University Tennis Courts Pinzon, a freshman from Bogota, Colombia, got past her Saints’ teammate Zaara Omar 6-2, 6-1 in the East Stage Singles Draw.
