Tempo sign centre Kamila Borkowska to developmental contract
The injury-battered Toronto Tempo are adding some depth down low. Six-foot-seven centre Kamila Borkowska signed a developmental contract with the team, it announced on Saturday. Borkowska, a 24-year-old from Poland, would make her WNBA debut if she gets into a game. She previously competed at training camp with the Connecticut Sun last season. Over six games with her national team at the European Championships over the past two years, Borkowska has averaged 12 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals.
