Wildcats fall to Blues in conference opener

WALLA WALLA, Wash. – Linfield men’s soccer (1-3-1, 0-1 NWC) was unable to overcome two early goals against the reigning NWC champion Whitman Blues (2-1-1, 1-0 NWC) on Saturday afternoon. Whitman jumped ahead with goals in the third and 10th minutes, sending the Wildcats into halftime facing a 2-0 deficit. Linfield was limited to one shot in the opening 45 minutes but pressured in the second half.
