Women’s Golf Sits Third After Opening Round of Cameron Invitational
LAWTON, Okla. – The Cameron University Women’s Golf team opened play at the Cameron Invitational on Saturday at Lawton Country Club, finishing the first round in third place on the six-team leaderboard. The Aggies carded a 25-over par team score in the opening round, sitting seven strokes behind tournament leader the University of Texas Permian Basin (+18) and one stroke behind the University of Texas A&M-Texarkana (+24). Redlands Community College finished the day fourth at +37, followed by Seminole State College at +39 and its B team at +90. Cameron had two golfers finish the opening round tied for sixth.…
