Women’s Golf Tees Finishes First Round at Schooner Fall Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – Seniors Daniela Campillo Martinez and Jackie Gonzalez Howard and junior Emilia Väistö each posted 71s Saturday to lead the University of Houston Women’s Golf program during the First Round of the Schooner Fall Classic at Belmar Golf Club. Väisto drained a team-high four birdies on the 6,182-yard, par-70 course while Campillo Martinez sank three and Gonzalez Howard added two to pace the Cougars in their second tournament of the fall season.
