Women’s Volleyball: Women’s Volleyball: Hawks Split Saturday Tri-MAtch, Defeat Worcester State

BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Women’s Volleyball team split a pair of matches during Saturday’s tri-match at the Paolino Recreation Center. The Hawks fell to Coast Guard 3-1 (25-22, 19-25, 25-12, 25-21) before earning a 3-1 (25-21, 22-25, 25-21, 25-17) victory over Worcester State. RWU finished the day with a 4-8 record. For the Hawks, Angela West (Riverview, Fla.) totaled 23 kills on a .450 hitting percentage across the two matches, including 16 kills on a .600 clip against Worcester State.
