Field Hockey Defeats Rider 2-1

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's field hockey team defeated Rider 2-1 in nonconference action in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on Sunday afternoon. With the win, the Hoyas even their record to 4-4 on the season while the Broncs fall to 1-7 overall. Izzy Lee and Katherine Malloy both scored for the Hoyas while Laney Reiser and Elizabeth Rossotti added assists. After a scoreless first half, Lee put the Blue & Gray on the board first at the 36:14 mark courtesy of a Reiser assist.
