Field Hockey Extends Win Streak to Six Games

EASTON, Pa. - Lafayette field hockey shut out VCU, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon. Katie Gibb secured the first goal of the game, batting in a deflected shot by Stella Malinowski at 12:59 in the first quarter. In the third period, Malinowski closed out the contest with a penalty stroke tally at 39:31. Lafayette held the advantage in total shots (14-9) as penalty corners were tied at six apiece.
