Marquette closes out non-conference play with a three-set sweep over Milwaukee

Photo by Marquette Athletics Marquette recorded a season-high 14.5 blocks on Sunday. Sunday afternoon marked a winning weekend for the Golden Eagles. After coming off a reverse sweep versus St. Thomas in five-sets on Saturday, Marquette (5-5) finished off non-conference play defeating cross-town rival Milwaukee (5-6) in three sets. Junior outside hitter Carson Tyler was once again dominant early for the Golden Eagles with three kills, as they led 8-3 when the Panthers called their first timeout.
