Yellowjackets Shine in Fall Debut

ITHACA, NY – Led by a commanding performance but the Pair (2-) of senior Co-captain Julia Tricomi and sophomore Erin Seitzer the University of Rochester women’s rowing team had a strong performance at the Ithaca Cayuga Sprints on Sunday afternoon along the Cayuga Inlet. The racing came against league rivals Ithaca, and RIT, as well as entries from Cornell’s rowing club, and Cascadilla BC. The event was held in two parts; a morning 2000-meter time trial, and an afternoon 1000-meter sprint where boats are matched with the boat closest to you in time.
