Alberto Madail’s Big Week Leads to MEC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Wheeling, W. Va. – The Wheeling University Men’s Soccer team (2-5, 0-4) battled throughout the week to a 1-1 effort against Davis & Elkins and Seton Hill. The defense held strong throughout the week, conceding just three goals in the two games, and goalkeeper Alberto Madail would be honored for his work in net by the Mountain East Conference (MEC). The conference released their weekly Player of the Week awards, presented by The Healthplan, and Madail was named the MEC Defensive Player of the Week.
