Brown named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week

FORT MYERS, Fla. – Javier Brown was named the ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Monday following a strong week of play on the pitch. Brown helped the Eagles go 2-0 in Texas, with wins over Houston Christian and Incarnate Word. The freshman defender scored his first career goal in FGCU’s 3-0 win over the Cardinals on a header off a pass into the box from Lucas Sperner .
