Eagles Sign Zach Ertz as Dallas Goedert Faces Extended MCL Injury

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert sustained a sprained MCL in Sunday’s 24-20 win over the Tennessee Titans and is expected to miss multiple weeks, ESPN reports. In response, the Eagles are bringing back a familiar face. Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, tight end Zach Ertz is signing with Philadelphia’s practice squad. Ertz played eight-plus seasons with the Eagles from 2013-21. He was a three-time Pro Bowler and a key contributer to Philadelphia’s first Super Bowl-winning team in the 2017 season.
