Grinnell men’s soccer team sweeps MWC Performer of the Week awards

GRINNELL, Iowa – After posting its best start to a season since 1993, Grinnell College’s men’s soccer team has swept the Midwest Conference Performer of the Week honors. Samuel Gojjam ’27 was named the MWC Offensive Performer of the Week, while Jack Alexander ’29 repeated as Defensive Performer of the Week. Gojjam, a forward from Cambridge, Mass. (Cambridge Rindge Latin), was a scoring machine while helping Grinnell to a pair of victories.
