Joseph Claims Southland Special Teams Player of the Week Honors

HAMMOND, La. – After helping the Southeastern Louisiana University football team to a historic 38-35 victory over ULM, Lion junior wide receiver/punt returner Dkhai Joseph was named the Southland Conference Special Teams Player of the Week in an announcement from the league office Monday. Joseph was a key contributor to Southeastern’s win over the FBS member Warhawks – the Lions’ first victory over a Football Subdivision opponent in 36 tries since the program’s return from an 18-year hiatus in 2003.
