Kouvelas earns second PAC Newcomer of the Week award this year

Jason Kapusta 9/21/2026 4:20:00 PM TRAFFORD, Pa.–Westminster freshman Vasilis Kouvelas (Anthem, Ariz., Boulder Creek) earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Men’s Soccer Newcomer of the Week honors Monday afternoon. This is Kouvelas’ second PAC Newcomer of the Week award (Sept. 7). A goalkeeper, Kouvelas went 1-0-1 with a shutout and seven combined saves last week for Westminster. He made four saves in a 1-1 draw with Thiel last Tuesday before securing his second shutout of the year with three stops in a 3-0 win Friday afternoon at Bethany.
