Mavs third with three in top ten after first day

MONTROSE, Colo.— The Colorado Mesa University men’s golf team posted a pair of under par rounds and has three players in the top ten of the individual standings while standing in third place as a team after 36 holes of the San Juan Intercollegiate presented by Timberline Bank following Monday’s play here at The Bridges Golf & Country Club. The Mavs posted team scores of 282 (-2) and 275 (-9) and are sandwiched in between Western New Mexico (556, -12) and the Colorado School of Mines (558, -10).
