Mixon earns second-straight SAA Offensive Athlete of the Week honor

Football 9/21/2026 12:00:00 PM SEWANEE, Tenn. – Barton Mixon earned his second straight Offensive Athlete of the Week honor, helping the Tigers to a 24-17 win over North Carolina Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon. Mixon totaled 225 all-purpose yards and scored two touchdowns for the Tigers. He rushed for 120 yards on 22 carries and added 105 receiving yards on four receptions, averaging 5.5 yards per carry and 26.3 yards per reception.
