Report: Bears QB Caleb Williams avoids major injury
The Chicago Bears got some very good news on Monday. Tests confirmed star quarterback Caleb Williams avoided a major injury to his hamstring, NFL insider Tom Pelissero reported. The Bears (1-1) are not ruling out Williams returning for next Monday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, Bears coach Ben Johnson did say he expects Williams to be "week to week" in a radio interview on Monday, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
