TRUESDALE REPEATS AS MEAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

NORFOLK, Va. – North Carolina Central University sophomore defensive back Joshua Truesdale was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday. Truesdale recorded a career-high 17 tackles, including 12 solo stops, during the Eagles' road contest against Gardner-Webb on Saturday. The Charlotte, N.C. native has led NCCU in tackles in each of the past two games.
