Vandeborne Nets Third PSAC West Defensive Weekly Award

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference announced their weekly volleyball award winners on Monday. For the second week in a row and third time this season Clarion’s Cara Vandeborne earned PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week honors. Vandeborne was once again dominant on defense, contributing to two Golden Eagles wins and making history in the process. The freshman averaged 2.63 blocks per set, totaling 21 blocks in matches against Slippery Rock (W 3-0) and Findlay (W 3-2).
