Field Hockey Game at Coker Suspended; Will Be Completed Later in Season

HARTSVILLE, S.C. – The Lander field hockey team dominated the opening 30 minutes and grabbed a 1-0 lead over Coker just before halftime, but thunderstorms in the Pee Dee region forced the game to be suspended with 50 seconds remaining in the third quarter Tuesday evening. The two teams will work with the South Atlantic Conference to determine a date to complete the game. The two teams will face off again in Greenwood on Saturday, October 17th.
