Hoffman, Nicolson Win Pac-12 Awards

CORVALLIS – Oregon State standouts Tim Hoffman and John Nicolson have earned Pac-12 weekly awards, the conference office announced Tuesday. Hoffman earned conference Offensive Player of the Week recognition after scoring the game-winning goal against UC Santa Barbara on Sunday. The sophomore has two goals and one assist this season, and made his second start of the year against the Gauchos. Hoffman was a conference All-Freshman honoree last season. Nicolson was named the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week. He made eight saves against UC Santa Barabara in the winning effort. Nicolson leads the conference with 29 assists this season.…
