FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The University of Hawai’i women’s golf team opened its 2026-27 season on Monday, posting a 36-hole total of 587 (+11) to sit tied for ninth place after the first day of the Ben Connell Ram Classic at Ptarmigan Country Club. Freshman Kady Matsumoto delivered a standout performance in her collegiate debut, pacing the Rainbow Wahine with back-to-back even-par rounds of 72.
